What I offer
What is ADHD Coaching?
Are you or your family members struggling with ADHD? Are mainstream strategies to manage at school, work or home not meeting your needs? Are you struggling with how to access services for yourself or family members? If so, I would love to work with you. I offer strength-based ADHD coaching to help you find the strategies that work best for your brain. I partner with clients to learn more about how ADHD shows up in their lives. We work together to tackle challenges in executive functioning, emotional regulation, motivation and social skills. Highlighting and building on ADHD strengths is an important part of the process.
How can I start working with you?
Please contact me if you are interested in working together. I am happy to answer any questions you have. Please set up a free 15 minute consultation to learn more about my services.
How can you help me or my family?
I have a number of ways to help you or your family members challenged with ADHD. I offer 1-1 ADHD coaching for children, youth and adults, as well as coaching for parents. I am an experienced social worker and I'm available to guide and advocate for resources in schools, post-secondary institutions, workplace accommodations and disability benefits as appropriate. I am also available to provide in-service instruction to agencies who want to increase their knowledge of working with individuals with ADHD.
Are your services covered by insurance?
If your extended insurance benefits cover the services of a registered social worker, RSW, or masters of social work, MSW, in British Columbia then YES my services are covered by insurance.
For clients without insurance, the services of a registered social worker are considered a medical expense in Canada and can be claimed as such on your federal income tax.
How should I prepare for my initial consultation?
Before we meet for an initial consultation, think about what brought you to my website at this time in your life. Where would you like to focus on positive change and what are your goals? If you don't know, that's okay too! We will figure it out together.
My social work registration (RSW) is limited to British Columbia, Canada
